Experience

Diana has more than 40 years of fundraising experience, including annual giving, events, grant writing, major giving, and capital campaigns, in roles ranging from annual giving officer to executive director. She has created policies and procedures, overseen database and gift acknowledgment operations, and managed a grant award program. Diana is especially passionate about writing for clients, helping them create compelling materials to support their fundraising efforts.

She worked for the United Way of Southeast Michigan, Children’s Hospital of Michigan, Goodwill Industries of Greater Detroit, the J.P. McCarthy Foundation, and Botsford Hospital Foundation. Diana worked as an independent consultant before joining Skystone Partners.

Her volunteer activities have included serving as an informal advisor to small and fledgling nonprofits, varied leadership roles in her congregation, and participation in Urban Neighborhood Initiatives’ fund development and marketing committee. She is currently a board member of the Michigan Association for Infant Mental Health.

Diana has a Bachelor of Arts in English with a concentration in journalism from Miami University. She has participated in many educational workshops and seminars sponsored by AFP, AHP, and Blackbaud.
