Experience

Kay has served as a fundraising consultant for over 25 years. She was the managing partner of the Dallas, Texas office of Staley/Robeson/Ryan/St. Lawrence, (the predecessor of Skystone Partners), working with colleges, universities, hospitals, associations, nonprofits, and religious groups in all aspects of fundraising.

An active horsewoman, she was Executive Director for Equest Therapeutic Horsemanship in Dallas and Interim Manager, then CEO, for the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH Intl.), the standards and credentialing oversight of the therapeutic horse industry in Denver Colorado.

Kay has conducted workshops and training for boards and staff of nonprofits. She has served on many boards, including the NARHA (now PATH International), Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), and local community boards.

She is a Rotary International member, serving on various committees and as president. In 2003, Kay was named Outstanding Fundraising Executive by the AFP Dallas Chapter.
