Experience

Rachel Kirley currently serves as the Deputy Director, Development and Individual Giving for the San Francisco Symphony. She oversees a team responsible for raising $15 million in unrestricted operating support, endowment and special project initiatives. She serves on the Development Leadership team, providing strategy and guidance for institution wide projects. Previously, she served as the Development Director for the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park. In this capacity she oversaw all annual, capital and endowment fundraising efforts for the institution while overseeing a team of nine.

​A Certified Fund-Raising Executive (CFRE) with close to 20 years of experience in the field, she currently lives in San Francisco with her husband and is in the process of transitioning back to Cincinnati to be closer to family. Rachel recently completed the necessary coursework to receive the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP) designation, to be awarded in March of 2025.
